I saw all of these cars within a one square block radius of Union Station in a 45min time period yesterday.

That there is a HJ61, with the turbodiesel 12H-T. A mighty 134 hp and 236 ft-lbs at work here, from 4 liters of turbo diesel. or basically what you get from a VW 2.0 TDI.

Looking at the engines in these, would it be possible to adjust the fueling for more power? They have an inline piston pump, so in theory they should be able to adjust.

If I ever have the spare cash, I might take a trip back to Alabama and ask a guy a couple of miles from where I lived about his FJ60 wasting away in his back yard. It looks pretty solid, and looks like it was an engine donor to his restored one. But right now, that is just a want. Already daily driving a project.
